Assigning images to a product and publishing the product page
*To see how to upload images refer to the manual.
Step 1
Set up your template to use as default for all products pages.
For this example I have set up a page called Product Template and I used the following droplets:

Create page in pages area

droplets/mwi/producthead.php - Custom droplet (Pulls the right brand header for the product)
droplets/products/detail.php - Standard droplet (displays the product information)
app_morerange.php - Custom droplet (Displays a heading for the associated products)
droplets/products/grid.php - Standard droplet (fetches the associate products in the range)

My modules use the following variables for tie in:
producthead.php
uses the page tie_in automatically set when publishing the product
detail.php
uses the page tie_in automatically set when publishing the product
app_morerange.php and droplets/products/grid.php
uses the second option defined in the products option template

Product Options Template

Make sure you lock the droplets and set "Use as template" to "Yes"

Lock droplet and set use as template

On the bottom of the page enable allow inherit

Allow inherit on the page

Step 2 (Assigning an Image)
Open an existing product or create a new one. For this example I have opened an existing product named "Rosendahl Tom Kristensen Le Mans Red"

Open or create a new product

Scroll down to the image area of the product and click on the image assign next to the image name field.

Click the assign image button

This will open the image selection window. (Make sure your pop-up blocker allows it).
Open the folder that contains your image. I have all my images grouped in folders according to manufacturers.

Select image folder

Once you image folder opens scroll down to the image you want to assign to the image and click the assign image icon.

Select image

Your image will now appear in the image field. Don't forget to enter the image description, failure to do so will cause penalties from the search engines.

Step 3 (Publishing the product page)
To use the auto page publishing feature in Aqua CMS products manager you need to do the following:

First ensure the details page field is empty.

Make sure details page is empty

For my example I have the grid droplet added that automatically fetches the associated products in the product model range. For this to happen I have to make sure I have the right model selected (this is option 2 from the products option template).

Select the right model range

Scroll down to the publish area.

Set the publish option to yes.

Enable publish

Select the folder you want to publish this product page to. This is a Rosendahl so I want the page to be in the rosendahl folder.

Select the correct folder

Click on the generate button to create the page name. Make sure the page name only contains alpha numeric chars. White space will automatically be replaced by Aqua CMS with underscores (_). The page name will also be converted to lowercase by Aqua CMS.

Note: If you haven't published the page and the page name is filled in still press the "Generate" link this will ensure the page name is correct.

Generate page name

Now select the default page template you want to use for the product page layout. For this example it is "Product Template". For this shop I only use "Product Template" for all products regardless of manufacturer.

Select page template

Click on the save button.

Save changes

Your product changes will now be saved and Aqua CMS will publish the page to your chosen folder and activate it.
Please Note:
You should only do this once. If you are just updating the product you don't need to re-publish the page.

If you have to republish the page first delete the page in the page management area.

Page created in selected folder

If you go and preview the page you will see that all required elements have been automatically added to the page by Aqua CMS.

All done.
