Requirements:
PHP 4.1 + (5 Recommended) with GD library enabled
MySQL 4 + (5 Recommended)
Apache 2 or IIS 5 +
To install:
Upload the files in the Aqua CMS folder via FTP into your hosting accounts root folder this is usually the folder:
Linux
"httpdocs" or "www"
Windows
"wwwroot"
if you are not sure look for a folder once logged on using FTP that contains either "index.html" / "index.htm" / "default.asp" files or ask your ISP for more information.
Make sure PHP have read / write access to the root folder once again ask you ISP or webmaster to help.
Makes sure the following folders are writable by php
images
cache
docs
video
Once you have uploaded the files and you have setup your database run the install.php file by: http://www.yourdomain.com/install.php
Your login for the admin area is admin / admin - please change this after first login.

To upgrade:
Copy all files except for the following folders and files to you website root
application.php
images
docs
video
cache
media
Once uploaded run the udatedb.php file via http://www.yoursite.com/update.php
If you updating and you are getting an error regarding table xxxxx_notes please delete the table from your database and run the updater again. |
